Diane King Vetterlein, Designer

While the world retreated behind closed doors due to the global pandemic, one talented and crafty woman got in touch with her inner inspiration and worked tirelessly to produce an impressive line of custom fashion accessories for both women and men, especially for our times.

A Bay Area & Marin native, Diane King Vetterlein holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business marketing from San Francisco State University. However, her real interest in home sciences became far more appealing to this disciplined, focused Novato, CA resident.

As one half of identical twin sisters, she firmly established her own individuality by honing enviable, technical skills with Martha Stewart-like precision especially home sewing and home décor skills. Diane has always loved wearing hats and began making her own hats twenty years ago.

Diane previously ran her special events planning company, Events Fantastique, coordinating weddings and themed parties for bay area hostesses.

Vetterlein is now sharing her designing talents with her newly created label: Heart & Stole.
